Short Description

Elke Pirgmaier was born in 1982. She studied business administration majoring in environmental management at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and BI Norwegian School of Management in Oslo. She has work experience in the field of sustainable development with the Sustainable Development Commission in London, the Green Economics Institute in Oxford, the Austrian Society for Environment and Technology (ÖGUT) in Vienna and the Austrian Environment Ministry. Elke joined the Sustainable Europe Research Institute (SERI) in August 2008. Her work focuses on ecological (macro)economics and  ecological economic policy.
