Research activities in the field of environmental geochemistry:

  • development of physical analytic methods (i.e. neutron activation analysis)
  • nation-wide monitoring campaigns of stable pollutants in various environmental media (air, water, soil, foods) in relation with energy plant operation and other industrial activities
  • analysis of the environmental problems of the uranium mill tailings (Chairman of the Uranium Mill Tailings Steering Group of the NEADOECD)
