On June, 9, 2010, Fritz Hinterberger and Christine Polzin joined an Expert Group Meeting of the Eco Innovation Observatory (EIO) project in Brussels. In this project SERI and the Wuppertal Institute are responsible for the collection of data and indicators as well as for the creation of an Eco Innovation Scoreboard.

The group of experts included Bio Schmidt-Bleek (Factor 10 Institute), Klaus Rennings (Centre for European Economic Research), René Kemp (UNU-MERIT, ICIS, Maastricht University) and Birgit Munck-Kampmann (Copenhagen Resource Institute).
